How does matching work?
We match buyers and sellers using size, age, and gender so you see the most relevant listings.
TrunkMatch matches buyers and sellers so you see listings that fit your kids and sellers see buyers who are a good fit.
We use:
- Size compatibility — Tops, bottoms, shoes, and outerwear sizes from your kids’ profiles.
- Age adjacency — We prefer buyers whose kids are roughly 6–18 months behind the seller’s child in size/age, so clothes are likely to fit when they arrive.
- Gender — Boys, Girls, or Unisex so preferences align.
As a buyer, your Discover and Search results are influenced by how well listings match your kids’ profiles. As a seller, when buyers join your listing queue, we rank them by match quality (and other factors like purchase history) so you see the best-matched buyers first.
If you’re not seeing certain listings, try updating your kids’ sizes in Settings or broadening search filters.
